May 17, 2024:
- Updated the Commissions page. Some art references have been added, the TOS has been updated, and I've added a waitlist.
- Updated the Denezins of the Web section on the Link Hub.
- Directly uploaded the body font for the website and linked it to paragraph text. If this has worked, then that means that the body font shouldn't change between Apple devices and Windows/Android devices.
- I FINALLY finished the 2023 gallery on the Artwork page! It was missing some pieces on there.
- Fixed separate art galleries being connected to each other via the left & right arrows when previewed. (I.e. Being able to cycle from the 2024 gallery to the 2023 gallery in the preview screen)
- Fixed being unable to select the description text in previewed images.
- Rearranged two-part images in the art galleries to have Part 1s set before the Part 2s instead of the other way around. Also fixed a typo that prevented ALL gallery images from being previewed.
- Added a spacer between the bottom of the body text and the button in all Blog Shorts.
- Added a static PNG image of "CaptDedEyes_btn2" on the About Me page.
To Do List
This is what I need to work on.
HIGH PRIORITY:Important:
- Add my logo to the footer. - Cuz I want a place for it :)
- Apply RSS Feed support. - I think this will be a necessity.
- Join some webrings & link them on the homepage. - This will matter more once I have my site ready for the public.
- Implement Freezeframe.js - This will be especially important for the tickertape.
Low Priority:
- Upload my artwork archive!! - Time to upload as many web-ready images as I can!
- Implement a tagging system for the galleries - This could operate with my tab sections system, but I don't know how to do that yet.
- Find a way to make images load better on the Artwork page? - Lazy loading is not quite enough because all of the images are still loading at the same time. I'm gonna need something that can make the loading process as quick & painless as possible.
- Update the dark theme background art - It needs to be replaced with a new original art piece.
Ongoing:
- Update the webpage colors? - I need some time to think about what else I could adjust to prevent certain colors from blending into each other, but for now the website overall looks okay.
- Scale website for 4K displays - The responsive code I have right now is misbehaving a lot >:(
- Make the Theme Switcher button visible on 4K displays - The current responsive layout has made this button hidden.
- Send me 88x31 buttons! - I would love to take your suggestions for the tickertape :) For now, just email me links or images.
- Add more random messages to the 404 page - And I can take your suggestions for funny messages! For now, just email me.
